Lemonade Social at Wellington Fields, July 12, 2025
July 12, 2025
Over 50 people came to the historic Wellington House property to enjoy lemonade, fruit, cookies, and other delicacies, plus hear updates on projects happening there from WLT leaders and City Councillor Bill Hanley.
Afterwards, many strolled the fields and admired the extensive ecosystem restoration work done by WLT stewards for five years.
Senator Mike Barrett also attended with his wife, Nancy, as did City Councillor Colleen Bradley-MacArther.
We extend our thanks to Wagon Wheel who loaned us pretty potted flowers, and to the City of Waltham for supporting our volunteers.

Over 60 nature lovers of all ages came to Christ Church for a program with Rick Roth the Snake Man and the Cape Ann Vernal Pool Team . We were introduced to many snakes found in New England and the world. Members of the team walked through the audience with them so everyone could see up close and take photos. Afterwards, brave people who wanted to hold the legless reptiles were given that opportunity. Many thanks to the Waltham Cultural Council for supporting this event!
