Children's Program for Kingergarten through 5th grade.
When it’s cold, icy and wet what do the animals do? Come find out about survival strategies and adaptations that help the wildlife of Massachusetts live through the winter. Learn how mammals, birds and amphibians live during the winter. Join staff from Mass Audubon’s Habitat Sanctuary for a vacation week program for children in grades K thru 5. There will be two simultaneous sessions, one for grades K-2 and one for grades 3-5. Limit of 15 participants per session. The program will be both indoors and outdoors so boots and winter clothing are recommended. Register by Thursday February 15th. Suggested donation of $10/family - but no fee is required to participate. Sponsored by the Waltham Land Trust, Friends of Stonehurst and the City of Waltham.
